Parent Conferences Thursday, October 12, 2017

On Thursday, October 12, 2017, Parent Conferences will be held at Ochoa Prep. Conferences will take place 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. No appointment is needed. Please come by during our scheduled time. Conferences focus on student’s progress, so it is important that you bring your child with you. Your child’s progress will be reviewed with the teachers. It is important we all work together in planning for his/her success for the remainder of this school year and for future years. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday!

School Wide PSAT, Thursday, October 11, 2017

The PSAT is the first in the College Board's "SAT Suite of Assessments" and is being offered to our 9th and 10th graders. The purpose of the PSAT is to establish a starting point in terms of college and career readiness. The standardized test will help students figure out the skills they need to work on most so that they are ready for college when they graduate from high school. It is also a tool that will help student practice for future College Board exams necessary for college admission.

New School Phone Number 562-801-7560

ERUSD is in the process of transitioning to a new phone system. With a new phone system come new phone numbers. This Friday, 9/15 will be the last day that our current phone number should be used to contact our school. Please use our new phone number, 562-801-7560, beginning Monday, 9/18. Thank you!

Picture Day 9/11/2017

Monday 9/11 will be picture day at the Ellen Ochoa Prep Academy. Envelopes with ordering information will be sent home with your child. If you are interested in purchasing school pictures, your child should bring the envelope with the money to school on Monday. Please ensure that all clothing is school appropriate. If you have any questions, please call the office. Thank you.

Free and Reduced Meal Applications

It is time to turn in Free and Reduced meal Applications. THE APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED EACH YEAR; they DO NOT transfer to the following year. You can now complete them online! Link: https://elranchousd.rocketscanapps.com/
Hard copies are also available in the office. Parents must complete and submit the application, students cannot submit applications themselves. Application deadline is fast approaching!

Meal prices have changed to the following prices: breakfast is $1.50; lunch is $2.75.
